Rajval village inundated

GULBARGA: Most of the houses in Rajval village of Aland taluk were surrounded by the backwaters of Amarja river, said BJP leader Chandrashekhar Patil Hiremath in a press note here on Monday. Hiremath said that he visited Rajwal village on Monday and found that most of the houses were inundated by the Amarja Dam and the stored food grains had perished. On his request, Executive Engineer of Karnataka Niravari Nigama Vijay Sangan and officials T S Aldi and Amrut Patil visited the place and said they would provide 25 zinc sheets to the families. Hiremath has requested the state government to open a rehabilitation centre in the village and restore power supply.
